The Ghostly Hour

Through my show I want to help people understand more about the paranormal field and teach them the difference between normal and paranormal. I would like to teach everyone about the types of spirits both good and bad. I also want to encourage both skeptics and believers alike to join in the talks and express their opinions.

I’ll also be talking about my experiences both personal and investigations and also talk about famous ghost sightings, photos, videos, stories and other investigations that have made the news and newspapers and some TV programs that have appeared over the years. Inaddition, I’ll also be interviewing people from all walks of life that have their own beliefs and experiences within the paranormal.

Hello everyone, my name is David Cook, I’m from a county called Essex in the UK. I got into the paranormal field quite young, I guess you could say I inheritted it from my parents and through their teachings, understood more about the things I was experiencing at the time. My earliest experience was when I was about 6 and I told my mum that she was not my first mum but I still loved her. Sadly neither me or my mum can remember the name I told her.

Into my teen years I found myself sensing, seeing and hearing more from the spirit world and telling people things I should not know about them. When I get asked how I knew things I always say I get shown pictures, hear words and sense things then try to put them into a way that the person would understand. That is where my passion for the paranormal really took off.

I set up a group a few years ago called Essex Ghost Investigations after I was receiving calls from people asking me if I could go investigate their houses to see if there was anything there or not. I never charge anything for my investigations as I feel if I did I would be doing this for all the wrong reasons. It’s called a gift for a reason and feel like I should use this gift to help others that need it.
