Restricted Airspace is live at 7 PM Pacific | 10 PM Eastern as part of our Fanatopia Friday lineup exclusively on the KCOR Digital Radio Network.
Restricted Airspace is hosted by Tina Marie Caouette, a radio broadcasting professional who happens to also be the CEO of KCOR Radio. This is the show that launched the network in 2015 after she left her successful terrestrial radio gig that was out competing with and even beating Coast to Coast in the Vegas market.
Tina, has had long career in the radio and TV broadcasting field as a DJ, but found herself emerged into the ufology and paranormal field shortly after moving to Southern Nevada and having experiences to this day she just can’t explain.
Her show covers an array of topics for the strange to the unusual. As she puts it, “Regardless of the topic, if it interests me, I feel it might just interest my listeners.” So you never know from week to week if you’ll be shooting across the sky in a UFO, hiking the backwoods in search of Bigfoot, or sitting in the Capital talking politics.
Her witty charm, passion for great music, and love for what “radio” used to sound like will make this experience magical, entertaining and sometimes just down right hysterical. In fact you just never know who might stop by or what might be said….and she likes it that way.
Tune in live every Friday night at 7 PM Pacific | 10 PM Eastern, for Restricted Airspace as part of our Fantopia Friday Line Up.
Tina’s a native of Massachusetts, but moved to Las Vegas in 2008 with her three loveable golden retrievers. That moved was a significant turning point in her life for a number of reasons but, the biggest, her recent UFO as well as abduction experiences that occurred while living in the outskirts of sin city. These occurrences have completely transformed the way she lives her life today and directed her to writing her first fiction book Alien Deceptions in 2011. A novel, as she describes it, as fiction based on fact. It has also lead her on a path of discovering the truth or at least her version of it, behind this mysterious phenomenon.
Tina spent a couple of years with the Las Vegas UFO Hunters, and started with them Majestic 12 TV. During the time the station was on air she was Executive Producer for all content and shows, including Higher Vibrations. The members of Higher Vibrations were featured on a number of shows including National Geographic as well as Penn & Teller’s Bullshit. Her job was always behind the scenes checking into the validity of the topics and videos before being aired.
Also during that time Tina spent her off hours as a MUFON investigator. Living in Las Vegas gave her a unique opportunity to investigate local sightings. However, many of these reports were very much explainable as local air traffic and Venus. That has not stopped her for seeking the truth.
In 2012 she was given a chance to once again show her skills behind the scenes and was hired at KDWN 720 in Las Vegas. There she handles most of the board work and occasional gets the chance to produce live shows. Recently this summer she joined the crew of Knights Paranormal Research Society, not behind the scenes, but this time live on the air with them over at KLAV. It was an honor to work with Professionals such as Michael & Lindsay Knight on their weekly show. It was this experience that launched the idea for her own Paranormal show.
In steps, Programming Director John Shaffer at KDWN, who helped get the air time for her show at KDWN called Restricted Airspace. With all her pasts contacts from Majestic 12 TV this show will be filled with topics ranging from UFO’s, Paranormal to Conspiracies. It airs every Friday night at Midnight and will be the one hour you don’t want to miss each week.
Currently, besides the radio show, Tina is in the process of writing her follow up book, Project Deep Core, as well as her memoirs detailing her own personal UFO experiences. Also, working in conjunction with an Illustrator she will be looking to launch a series of fun filled kids books ranging from Golden Retrievers to a series on UFO encounters.
In the Summer of 2014 Tina was the guide to Area 51 for a UK Film Crew shooting a reality TV show called, Educating Joey Essex. Her job, over the four day video shoot, besides sharing the history of Area 51 and bring the crew as close as they could go to the base was to educate Joey Essex on UFOs as well as contactees. The show aired September 2, 2014 on the ITV2 Network.
And as if that wasn’t enough you can always find Tina, if you can catch her, on the lanes bowling, perfecting her craft as a Professional Bowler. She recently received her Coaching Certificate from USBC and will be sharing her knowledge with the youth of tomorrow throughout the Las Vegas valley. She is also available for private lesson. For pricing or to set up a lesson please visit the bowling page on this site. In regards to her bowling, she has been asked to film a few short videos of her training practices over the years that work well, which time pending she will do and post on YouTube. Tina is also a contributor writer to the website Bowlers Paradigm under her own column, Bowling in Dreamland. Links can be found on this page.
